Taking a drive towards 160 km north of Kolkata one can reach this pre-processing and tranquil place named as Shantiniketan. A small town near Bolpur in the Birbhum district this place was established by India’s first Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. If you love the sea and beaches then Bengal has another place for its tourist. One of the delta islands Bakkhali is a part of Sunderban islands and is located in the South 24 parganas of West Bengal. Bakkhali is a seaside resort stretching along 7 km. It is a twin beach surrounded by Casuarina trees. This beach is unfathomed with fewer population and tourist.
